Congratulations! You are about to start one of the most rigorous CLEP courses. Part 1 - Conventions of Standard Written English
- Tests Syntax, sentence boundaries, recognition of correct sentences, concord/agreement, diction, modifiers, idiom, active/passive voice, lack of subject in modifying word group, logical comparison, logical agreement, and punctuation.

Part 2 - Paragraph Revision Skills
- Part two of the College Composition and Modular test. Tests sentence variety, structure, use of language, evaluation of reasoning, sonsistency of point of view, transitions, and coherence between sentences and paragraphs.

Part 3 - Sentence Revision Skills (Modular Only)
- Part three of the College Composition Modular test. Tests conventions of written English including diction, punctuation, sentence structure, and grammar.

Part 4 - Source Materials and Rhetorical Analysis
- Part four of the College Composition and Modular test. Concepts include: the use of reference materials, evaluation of scources, integration of resource material, the identification of appeal, tone, organization/structure, rhetorical analysis, use of language, and evaluation of evidence.

Part 5 - Rhetorical Analysis
- Part five of the English Composition test. Concepts include: conjunction errors, subject/verb agreement, possessive nouns and pronouns, redundancy, independent clauses, tenses, and punctuation.

Simulated College Composition Modular Exam
This is a full length simulated CLEP exam providing a similar experience to the the actual College Board CLEP exam. This timed CLEP exam is geared to prepare you for the pace and format that you'll need to succeed. Use it to test your knowledge while getting as close as you can to the real-life conditions of the exam.
