Western Civilization I - Ancient Rome [16 questions]

- Part three of the Civ I test. Concepts include: Political evolution of the Republic and of the Empire (economic and geographical context), Roman thought and culture, Early Christianity, The Germanic invasions, and the late empire.

Western Civilization I - Medieval History [48 questions]

- Part four of the Civ I test. Concepts include: Byzantium and Islam, Early medieval politics and culture through Charlemagne, Feudal and manorial institutions, The medieval Church, Medieval thought and culture, Rise of the towns and changing economic forms, Feudal monarchies, and the late medieval church

Western Civilization I - Renaissance and Reformation [37 questions]

- Part five of the Civ I test. Concepts include: The Renaissance in Italy, the Renaissance outside Italy, the New Monarchies, Protestantism and Catholicism reformed and reorganized.

Western Civilization I - Early Modern Europe, 1560-1648 [22 questions]

- Part six of the Civ I test. Concepts include: The opening of the Atlantic, the Commercial Revolution, Dynastic and religious conflicts, Thought and culture.
